What this site is (and isn’t)

Most drum sites are either a forum thread from 2009 or a video course behind a paywall. We’re neither. DrumDesk publishes short, specific articles that answer one question each, and builds small browser tools that do one job well.

Every guide tells you what the thing is, why it matters, and what to do first — in that order, in plain language, without assuming you already know the vocabulary. Where a piece of gear is involved we list the real price and say plainly when the cheap option is fine.

The tools are free and always will be. They run on your device, they don’t ask you to sign up, and they don’t store a single byte about you. The site is funded by the display ads you see in the margins.
